Schoolboy circumcision
Circumcision in school children remains a beautiful memory with the request and participation of the child and with an adult by his side.
In order to reduce pain, a cream containing local anaesthetic is applied about half an hour before the procedure and then local anaesthesia is applied around the penis using lidocaine and bupivacaine. Complete pain control is achieved in about half an hour.
In our practice, circumcision in school-age children is performed under either local anesthesia or sedation, and by surgical method.
