Prostate Surgery
Prostate biopsy is performed as MRI-Fusion biopsy under light anesthesia in our clinic. Generally, our patients are discharged within an hour after the procedure.
TUR-Prostatectomy: It is a procedure performed with an overnight stay in the hospital. General or spinal anesthesia may be applied. It stays at the end for two or three days.
Open Prostatectomy: This is a method we apply to very large prostates. Hospital stay is two nights. The endpoint may remain for a week.
HOLEP and THULEP: Both methods are available in our clinic. Hospitalization is for one night. These are surgeries that can be performed with general or spinal anesthesia. They are especially suitable for large-sized prostates.
Robotic Prostatectomy: This is the method we use in the treatment of prostate cancer. The hospital stay is two nights and the surgery is performed under general anesthesia.
